Lava Pixel V1 smartphone which belongs to the Google Android One group of devices has just now started getting the upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS Officail. 

How to upgrade Android Marshmallow 6.0 on Lava Pixel V1 – Steps below

Go  to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Update > Select Download (User can go to this step directly via notification bar also) >Wait for the package to download > Once the download is complete, click on Restart and Install option > The device will install the package and restart.

 

Note

Kindly take a backup of your personal data before proceeding for the upgrade Ensure that enough space around 750 MB is present in the device memory.The device should be connected to a healthy network (Preferable Wi-Fi).
The battery should be sufficiently charged (more than 30%).
